Don’t get me wrong – I love playing new games like Call of Duty where everything is dynamic, you play with friends, and nothing is quite the same each game. There is something to say about the old NES games though where you’ve made the same jump at the same time each game. Perfecting a game meant learning and practicing timing vs. anticipating change like the games now.
